COVE POINT LODGE

Cove Point Lodge offers an indoor pool, sauna, and hot tub for guest relaxation. Free Scandinavian breakfast buffet is served daily with items like pickled cucumbers, herring, and lingonberries. Complimentary cookies, coffee, and hot chocolate are available in the lobby throughout the day.

All lodge rooms face Lake Superior, providing lake views from private balconies or patios. Room types include Standard Queen Rooms, King Rooms, and cottages with kitchens and fireplaces. Select cottages offer a jacuzzi in the master suite and direct lakefront access.

On-site Cove Point Crossing Bar & Grill serves traditional American cuisine in a casual setting. The lodge restaurant features fine dining with lake views, an extensive wine list, and nightly specials like stuffed walleye and Swedish meatballs. A separate bar and pizza kitchen operated by the lodge is located a quarter mile up the road.

The lodge provides an Art Station with colored pencils and booklets for children. Free s'mores supplies are available at the lakeside fire pit every evening. Kids can participate in a gnome hunt and enjoy board games, puzzles, and DVDs from the lobby.

Direct access to the Gitchi-Gami State Bike Trail and multiple hiking trails on the property, including the Cove Point Loop. The lodge is within 12 minutes of Gooseberry Falls State Park and Split Rock Lighthouse. On-site bicycle rentals, berry picking in early August, and a fish house with a wood-burning stove provide additional recreation.
